No, not me.
For some reason neither of us can remember, Oviedo has a bronze statue of Woody Allen. This was our sole purpose of visiting the town. Photos taken, we popped in to McDonald's for a warming coffee and a snack, our first opportunity since brekkie. We still have about 90km to got to our hotel, eta about 6:30pm.
A Fistful of €uros
2019 sees the Wild Hogs, Woody and Grizzly, embark on another marathon tour. After the cold snowy mountains of Norway in the north, they now take on the hot dusty plains in the south, touring the Iberian peninsula. They’ll come together to begin their journey in Portsmouth, sailing to Bilbao, before spending around 30 days trekking through Spain, Portugal and into the Pyrenees of Andorra and France, before returning to Bilbao and Portsmouth. It's an epic journey totalling some 4250 road miles.

Another day over
Had a wander round, the new bridge, the bullring, then Sanch needed his beer. Coke for me. Sat in the 'square' by the bridge for a while, then I left Sanch to his beers and went over the bridge to the old town, in search of the old bridge. Found that and also discovered there is a third bridge, the Arab bridge. Had a good wander round, taking snaps, then motored back uphill in 27 degree sun. Maybe not such a good idea for man who has had a heart attack. I'm still alive though.

Came across a few more Don & Sanch things in the shops.
Also passed an 'Irish' bar on the way back to Sanch. He was on his third beer by the time I got back. I had another coke, then we went to check out the paddy bar. Needless to say, Sanch was not impressed. Still, we had another drink. As with all these places, it is someone's idea of what an Irish bar would be like but they clearly have never been to one. A bit of a mess really but did have an interesting exhibit, a Moto Guzzi Hispania, circa 1950.
Leaving there we made our way back to the 'square' and into McDs. Another coke for me, some cheesy bacon fries for Sanch. And that was it, back to the hotel.
Tomorrow we are going to the Costa del Sol, staying near Torrox Costa, so I'm preparing myself for more English chavs. Puffy purulent flesh and bleedin' Watneys Red Barrel!
