A Fistful of €uros

2019 sees the Wild Hogs, Woody and Grizzly, embark on another marathon tour. After the cold snowy mountains of Norway in the north, they now take on the hot dusty plains in the south, touring the Iberian peninsula. They’ll come together to begin their journey in Portsmouth, sailing to Bilbao, before spending around 30 days trekking through Spain, Portugal and into the Pyrenees of Andorra and France, before returning to Bilbao and Portsmouth. It's an epic journey totalling some 4250 road miles.

Day 2

A leisurely morning, including a full English breakfast, extra larged by Sanch. Left the hotel, as planned at 10am. And now this is the bit where I have to eat humble pie and take some poo from my bro'.

All togged up, stuck Ginny in reverse and she wouldn't move. Realisation quickly dawned, I'd forgotten to take the chain off! No damage. Fill your boots bro'.

A 2 minute spin over the roundabout and we were in the queue for the ferry. The shortest, yet slowest moving, thanks to a hold-up with a couple on a Gold Wing with trailer.

All boarded nice and quickly and now in our 'cosy' cabin, getting ready to explore. No Sanch, we can't open the window!
Departure is at midday, 15 behind schedule. Weather is fine so I expect we'll spend some time on deck as we steam out of Pompey and around the Isle of Wight. In 24 hours we should be in Bilbao.
