Day 3 and this is where the tour really starts, as we turn our first wheels on Spanish soil.
When we disembark we will have about 120 miles to ride to our hotel in Fuente de, in the heart of the Picos mountains. 2 hours to Bilbao. Weather currently grey and cloudy but importantly, dry.
It's been a very smooth crossing and the calm seas have aided the whale spotting of the two young ladies from the ORCA organisation. I spent a bit of time with them this morning, one of the few and was rewarded with the sight of a Fin whale and some dolphins.
Plan, once we arrive in Fuente de, is to ride the cable car up the mountain.
